Screenshots from Kinect Joy Ride, a launch title for the Xbox 360 Kinect. My role on this project was Associate Art Director. I partnered with the concept artist to create a cohesive visual look for the game, I then worked with the art team to set the visual quality bar for the project and drove this throughout production with daily art reviews. I was also responsible for creating a feature plan and requirements that drove the environment art pipeline, lighting pipeline, and render engine feature set. As well, I tuned the post processing for the game, captured marketing images, implemented naming conventions, scene organization, world scale, and texel density guidelines for the environment team. Due to staffing challenges, I created and maintained the lighting across all 16 environments while also performing my daily art direction duties. All of the modeling and texture work seen here was created by the art team.
